I have a problem. I have a siganl in which the information is inbetween 1.7 and 3 volt. To get the most accuracy with my ADC I want to delete the 1.7V offset. How can i do that the easiest way. Is it for example possible with a single transistor or opamp.
The Vref on my microcontroller development board is connected to the ground so i can't use it. The only option is to delete the 1.7V offset. I can imagine that it is possible with an opamp but i con't know how? I was hoping that someone can explain me a circuit which can do this.
Connect OpAMP as differential amplifier. The inverting input connect to 1.7V and
non inverting to the signal line. This is a standard way and a general recommendation as a starting poin for you. In real design you must take in account input resistances of the differential amplifier.
