the company that do to me the pcb's have only the p-cad 2000 and i use 2002...
they dont want to upgrade and dont wanna use the viewer...
i would like to change company, but they are cheapest!
what can i do? can i convert my draws to 2000?
tks,
Daniel

They are only cheapest if you remove the cost of converting the designs between 2000 <> 2002 as this is also 'hidden' time and money

As far as I know the upgrade price is not so expensive, I would ask them to change one copy to 2002 for your own work and if they do not upgrade then take the work to another company.

Cheap is not always good, cheap also needs some volume work to stay cheap and profitable, so your work might be very important to them, more than they tell.

I succeeded in opening P-cad2002 PCB files saved in Ascii pcb format in P-cad2000 by follwing simple steps

After saving pcad2002 pcb file as ASCII code

Then open it by word

In the page setup>>paper>>Increase page width to 15” and length to 22” for convenience

Then find and replace
