How to convert fish-eye Image into rectilinear image??

You want to expand the scale around the edges of the fisheye image. It is similar to mapping a polar coordinate system to Cartesian coordinates.

Move each existing pixel further from the center of the image.
The further it is from the center, the higher the percentage you move it.

Example, move distant pixels 40 percent further away.
Pixels a little less distant, 30 percent further.
Less distant, 20 percent further.
Pixels near the center, don't move.

The scaling factor is based on the reciprocal of the sine.

I'm newbie to image processing but your idea of "mapping a polar coordinate system to Cartesian coordinates" seems impressive but i didn't understood the idea of scaling factor can you elaborate on it or guide me to a material like journal papers or books or even website which will elaborate it??
