Hi all,

i doing a project which is control the stepper motor by using GPIO.
but i felt confuse between the 6 wired and 8 wired stepper motor, are they can be using same method to control??
and also can i use the IC uln2003 to control the motor???

Actually there is no difference between 6 and 8 wire stepper motor. In 6 wire the common point of 2 coils is merged and taken out for control.

You have to use uln2003 to control the stepper. Directly interfacing GPIO will generate much more trouble
