can i use the bc 558 transistor to on/off the buzzer?
or any other ways are there?

how to connect transistor to buzzer

1. Use a NPN transistor.
2. Link the Buzzer(+) at 12V and at C of transistor.
3. Connect one 10K resistor in output pin of 8051, to drive the base of transistor.
4. Connect the E of transistor to GND.

buzzer transistor drive

No need to place 10K ohm resistor between output of 89c51 and NPN transistor, because the outout is not push-pull and when output is 1 , a 22K ohm resistor connects output pin to VCC and can drive NPN transistor directly .
