How to construct a battery tester for mobile phones?

I would like to construct a battery tester for mobile phones

Any suggestions?

You can build the circuit to perform automatically loading the battery with predefined load, and checking the voltage drop (i.e. measure the internal resistance).
Whats about the electrochemical tester (like embedded in some AA cells)? Of course, it is only a joke.
