hello all,

Can I know whether pic18f4550 come along with driver itself inside the pic chip? Or do I need to download the driver from somewhere else. Btw, how much is the price for pic18f4550?

One more question, if I wish to connect my PIC18F4550 (which carrying data/signal from temperature hardware)to my pc, what type of usb cable require? Is it similar to the usb cable which our mouse using? Or we need some type of usb cable to connect to pc.

in my case, i dint use any external power source, i directly use the power supply provided by the usb.

any of your comment and help is much appreciated!

thanks!

you need a serial cable if you use the UART, or USB cable if using USB port.

drivers are there for both , but you have to configure the registers and use it as per your requirement.....

i feel the mode of communication has to be decided by you....
