Hello,

I have a NTA2710 Li-Ion battery View attachment batt.pdf and I want to charge it with MAX1551 charger View attachment MAX1551-MAX1555.pdf .

However I don't know where to connect the white cable of the battery. Is it compulsory to do that, else the battery won't charge?I think it has to do with temperature sensing but I have no idea about that.

Apart from that ,what would be a good way to discharge the battery?

If anyone knows please help :)
