how to connect dvd video out to lcd display having usb reader or sd card reader.

the lcd display have sd card reader and usb on the go reader so it can play all the files in memory stick . but same lcd does not have analogous video input connctivity so that i can play dvd disc directly from dvd player.

any idea about any such convertor or circuits which can convert and stream video signal to usb port of (lcd)media player

ps:-readily available usb video capture device works on computer but doesnt support in lcd display.

thankfully

if u 've pen drive or the memory cards, one quick option is to put your DVD video into that using P.C and play it in ur LCD display.

you are right. and i do it often . but most of my dvd's are original purchase which means they cant be copied nevertheless i want to avoid the chorus of writing the files into pendrive to watch movies. rather a video input would have been a great help.

something like a convertor which when fed to lcd's usb input it reads like memory of pen drive and plays direct video.

it seems there are no solution yet . i am disappointed.

i htried my level best to figure out some solution but failed..

thats why i gave you the above solution. if you cannot copy from the original DVD, use some ripping software. by doing so you can copy the original DVD.

P.S: take care of the copy righting issues..
