how to code pulse detector for coin acceptor in verilog?

i need a program to know the coin being detected by multi-coin acceptor...the coin acceptor uses pulses for 3 coins: 1, 5 and 10 pulses..please help me..i need it in verilog for fpga implementation..thanks
