How to change a 24 hour timer to 6 hours

24 hour timer

This is the circuit of "24 hour timer" According to the setup shown in the image how can i get it for 6 hours

Will this circuit give reset signal for every 6 hours automatically?

Please help me this type of design's are new for me

im not sure, but try this
conect R 4,7k to pin 1 to reset the IC every 6 h
remove Diode (d1)

RC oscillator time is equal to R x C
modify R or C value may work

Good day....

the timing of the IC was controlled by the RC osillator formed by the Capactor C3 and resistor R3& R4, to change the timing , jist replace the value o the resistor or capacitor using the formula 1/2.3 X Rt X Ct and use the pot to correct the clock pulse, ie, after the first blink of the LED connected at the pin 9, vary the POT to set the delay B/W the nxt clk
