how to calculate the quality of a filter

Hello All,

I got the S-parameters of HPF,but I don't know how to calculate the Q factor.
Please tell me the calculation method.

thanks,

mister_rf,

Thank you for helping me.I try it!

Normal very simple rule is Q=F/3dB_BW were:
Q - quality factor
F - central frequency
3dB_BW - 3dB bandwith of your filter

For HPF the quality fact doesn't really apply much since Q is a measure of your filter selectivity, so for HPF it should be quite low, which implies low Q.
