hello,
i have a signal current I(t)=Acos(wt+theta)
How can i calculate the signal power and noise power individually?

thanks
Reza

the shot noise created is Ishot = sqrt(2*e*I*bandwidth), maybe you can get the noise created by that current with this formula and get the noise power individually, otherwise Acos(wt) does not have a noise in it.

Is theta a static phase offset or a time-domain signal representing your noise ?
