I have designed my PCB Layout in OrCAD Cadence 16.0.

Now i want pour copper to Whole PCB for ground support.

If i select for Obstacle layer -> New -> Properties
Choosing Obstacle Type - copper pour & selecting Obstacle layer - BOTTOM

Then add it to PCB , Is it right way to Copper pour to PCB or not?

Could anybody suggest me?

Hi

Yes it sounds about right.

You select the "Obstacle Tool". Draw your copper area. Then selct the "Obstacle Type" as copper pour. The "Obstacle Layer" is chosen to the wanted layer.

If you want it attached to a certain(like GND) net then you need to assign it under the "Net attachment" scroll-down just below the other settings.

Regards
