How the xilinx file is simulated using modelsim simulator ???

Hi friends,

I write one program in xilinx , but i want to see the simulation result in modelsim simulator..

I studied in the net its like we want to change the preferences in edit menu..

But i dont know which file path i have to attach..

Pls help me..

Xilinx has the ISE simulator which is the default simulator. Otherwise you can check this out-

In order to simulate the code in modelsim u need vhdl or verilog files along with test bench to pass inputs...

yeah i find the way to simulate the xilinx file using modelsim simulator..

we change the preference in the edit menu...
