Music IC's

Dear All

Can some one explain to me how the "low price" music and melody IC's are designed. These are the types used in toys. It is not digital music stored in a ROM. Usually, I see in the board only one small IC that is the sourse the of the music.

Also, can you provide with names of some vendors for this kind of low price music IC's.

Thanks

Re: Music IC's

the Sunplus MCU is a good choice ,it has strong voice process ability.
it has widely used in toys、learning machines and other consumption E-products
you can have a look at http://www.sunplus.com.tw/index.asp

Re: Music IC's

These chips do have some memory tables with songs samples, and most of the times any toy have it's own custom chip.
