frequancy

as we can tune in analog radios by changing the capacitane from variable capacitor but in digital radio like the radios in the mobiles how they tune themselves to required frequancy?

how to tune digital radio

Just as we use a capacitor in analogue radios, in digital radio VariCap diodes are used which change thier capacitances when votage is applied across their terminals and thus the oscillator frequency is changed. All this is done by Microcontroller or dedicated PLL chips. Good luck
