What do you mean by little more!! Nothing more than 64KB is possible.
If you are talking about data memory then you can interface MMC/SD memory to 8085 but i won't recommend that. You can use newer microcontrollers for this purpose.
8085 has 16Bit addressbus and 8 Bit data bus.
so addressing capacity is 64kB of system memory and
it can address 2(pow)8 of I/O devices. And at a time
it can access one byte of data either from memory or I/o device.
ya i also need that book name we found this in a discussion so i am not very sure and some of my friend told that he hd read frm a book so i started this topic here.
so plz can u tell me that particular book. or upload it?/
microprocessor 8085 is 8 bit memory address device and its total storage capacity is 2^8 = 256 Bites
and since its address is 16 bit it can access address from 0000000000000000 to 1111111111111111 which equals 2^16 which equals 65536bites = 64 kb
who said 128kb? actually al i know that it's somehow or another 64 kb so no way ,at least for my knowledge.
If someone have new information of this show us with evidence
