How much developing electronic positional system can cost?

Hello, sorry maybe not for posting here but....
We've got an order from our American customer on developing electronic positional system.
In a few words it should register the overlapping of 2 objects with accuracy about 1cm
and by wireless transmitt data onto an LCD screen...
Course we are new in this way whould you please advice how much does the similar project can be cost in US (our required cost)...

Hi PaulSh,

Couldnt understand what you want to build!
The cost of a project has many factores, The most importnat ones are:
1. Have you ever done something like this before?
2. Do you know what you are getting your self into?
3. Do you know how long it will take you to get out of this?
And so on.
Taking into account all i said, multiplay it but the number of people that are going to work on it and the time = your answer.

Ianp, What do you think? sounds ok?

I think that this fee is not negotiable, paid up-front in cash, and notes should be of mixed series ..
