[SOLVED] how much current the dsPIC33 I/O pins could sink ?

I'd like to feed 24mA current signal back to dsp. Is it ok?? Or I need an interface ?

Look in the 'Electrical Characteristics' in the data sheet of your device.

Some pins sink/source 4mA
some 8mA
and the PWM outputs 16mA.

You need a buffer.

As 2 the "PWM outputs", u mean the motor control module, right?? If so, 16mA is pretty nice!! Can u give me a link to confirm this ? Thx a lot!!
