I've got a home lab. I would not want to be without one.
I just love waking up late on Sundays, get up, walk to my home lab, and just start working on whatever project is sitting on the desk. Not even getting my pants on.
Sorry for that last comment. Maybe I shared too much.
Anyways, for me a home would not be a home if it did not contain a home lab. Period.
My lab is not overly stocked with eguipment, but I get by.
1x Fluke 79 multimeter
1x Home build lab supply, 30V/3A
1x Philips Fluke PM95 portable oscilloscope
1x Schneider Amplitude meter (from the early 80s)
1x Home build electronic load, 200W (400V/10A) (nearly finished, it needs a case and proper display readout facilities)
1x Soldering iron with temperature control
I'm currently looking into building a larger lab supply with more features. Target is around 60-80 volt 10 amps.
Cheers,
