How good are TANNER tools

Hi

Anyone please tell me, how good are tanner circuit simulation tools in terms of accuracy for analog designs. Can they produce all the functionality of the cadence SPECTRE?

Has anyone ran a design simulation on SPECTRE and compared it with TANNNER?

Since the underlying philosophy of all the circuit simulators is the same ie SPICE..

Would be very thankful if all could share their ecperience.

I know that cadence, synopsys and mentor graphics are the best software provider in the world of electronics.
but I think l-edit is good.

I once tried TANNER tools as a part of evaluation ....As every tool has a learning curve I had some trouble too.....but my understanding is it is maybe a bit faster than cadence tools.. as it doent have the GUI support of cadence.. and you can get things like monte carlo analysis within the package.... buying it from cadence is an expensive affair...

moreover TANNER tools i think can be used on PC as well...

Tanner is a company which wants to provide EDA tools
for a lower price than its competitors. As far as their
reliability is concerned they are good tools and fairly
simple to learn and use. One more advantage is that
they are available in Windows platform ...
