how are fpgas used in mobile communcation applications. does any one have any info on it.
is there any online material for it.

I think FPGA's are generally not used in mobile applications. Devices like mobile phones are mass produced so ASIC's are cheaper. FPGA's tend to need more power than ASIC's. Battery life is very important in mobile applications.
