Hi, I don't understand how this MUX (is it really one?) work. This is its symbol:

Code:
    |
 -------
 | MUX |
-|1 V1|-
 |_ __|
-|1 V1|-
 |-----|

It seems it has three inputs, SEL, 1 and NOT 1, and two outputs, V1 and NOT V1. I've never seen such an 2x2 mux before, what does it output depending on the SEL value?

It must be a 2 to 1 mux. The left pins are the inputs, on the top is the control pin and
on the right the output pin.

And, if it has two outpts, one can be the Inverted Output ie. OUT and OUT`

As there is only one select line it can control two i/p's

since i/p's are A and A' any one can be available at output V according to sl i/p.

only thing new in this fig are instead of seperate i/p's they are just compliment.

its (non inv output) gives just the exor gate o/p with (non inv i/p) and (select line ) as i/p.
