Hello,

How does primetime decide/calculate the launch and capture edges of the clocks for timing various paths?
what are the factors which can affect the edge decision/calculation?

what do you mean? you always know which clock arrives at each flop, and the corresponding branch(es) of the clock tree(s). you always know the polarity of the flop.
