How does MENTOR EN2002 perform under Windows XP?

Just curious to know if anyone using it under windows XP ?
How does it compare with boardstation ?

I may have access to it..

However the eternal problem of fast FTP exists...

My original query was to see if any people were actually using it
and get a 'feeling' compared to board station prior going to the
trouble of installing it..

Board station is not exactly what I called 'user friendly' specially
regarding symbols and geometry

focus on expedition/icx.according an internal memo,mentor
will release a new-architecture system design suit by 2004.
frankly say,boardstation is the best of enterprise system design
package but it adopted all muture technologis which seems old
from modern viewpoint.if you acquired lms, lib's creation is easy.

I Have use the EN2002( BoardStation). It's very power full, but the Unix Guide not friendly for user. and I want to use Expedition WG2002. does any one have it. can U share It on FTP. I only have WG2000.5.1 from MentorGraphics.

Let me preface this by saying I'm not a BoardStation fan!, I currently use it at work and it is the a huge overblown dinosaur that with a $100K seat allows you to do about what you could do with any PCB EDA soft - with that seat you could design schematics link them to a PCB design and auto-place (who does?) and draw traces and then out put gerber and that is all that you get! of course if you want to double your money you can do much more. Expedition is the Veribest product but Mentor is in the process of trashing that also - for example in WG2002 you can no longer generate gerbers from the layout module, you also have to have a special "cam output module" - this means that you pay for a license for layout and then for another license to use what you create in layout! - about $15K each add that to licenses you must buy to plot to HPGL, or to use design capture, or for the library manager and you end up pretty much around 100K.

Oh yeah ICX costs a whole lot more.

Bottom line is that you can accomplish what you want with the knowledge to do the job and adequate fundamental tools - study is the key.
