LM 3909

Hello there

I was wondering does anyone know or explain how does LM 3909 works, I mean his internal circuit without any outside components.

I was looking the datasheet but there are some schematics and ect. and general stuff for that IC

LM 3909

The LM3909 is obsolete.
It charges a capacitor and adds its voltage to the 1.5V battery's voltage then discharges the resulting 3V into the LED in series with a current-limiting resistor.

It won't do anything without the very important outside capacitor.

LM 3909

I am not your mate.
My wife is my mate.

Do you live and work on a ship down under? Then everybody is your mate.

Re: LM 3909

LOL

Mate is English word similar to Pal

LM 3909

A mate in a British dictionary is "a companion".
A mate everywhere else is "a spouse".

A HUGE difference.

Re: LM 3909

If you are smart enough than you should know that I've ment on COMPANION not spouse

LM 3909

I do not live in Australia nor in Britain.
"SMART" has nothing to do with the weird sayings of boat guys.
Maybe boats should have more women on them.
