Jamming in Cdma

How does CDMA communication standard provides jamming immunity.
but does also have the disadvantage of self-jamming

Re: Jamming in Cdma

Jamming immunity is provided against other narrowband signal interfereing in the same bandwidth, because the spreading code is multiplied by the received signal, all interference is flattened and the wanted signal is amplified.

however, the system is interference limited (interference coming from the CDMU users and stations) as it can tolerate this interference up to a certain stability limit.

i tried to summarize it .
