How does a PLL without a charge pump attain lock?

Hi!

How does a PLL without a charge pump attains lock? After all No integrator is inherent in it!

1.) Your question is incomplete: What means "without a charge pump" ? Of course can PLL work without a charge pump, for example with another kind of phase detector.
2.) You should know that the VCO constitutes an integrator function for the phase of the signal.
