hi

i am using atmel micro controller.
i am using extreme burner. in this how do lock the our code?

in Fuse Bits/settings

select Lock fuse

but be careful you can not read or write from this micro-controller again

You can't write again unless you do an full erase, the device is not permanently locked.
The purpose is to protect the flash content, once you erase the flash the device is unlocked again.

Also note that while the device is locked you are able to perform a read but what you read back is just garbage, you can do a CRC check if are in doubt.
