switching power

I have designed a 64 bit prefix adder . How do I calculate the switching power of the circuit by doing modifications in my verilog code

Plz reply

Re: switching power

You can use Synopsys Design Compiler if you are planning to implement it as a ASIC.

You can use Xilinx Xpower Analyzer if you are planning to implement it using FPGA

You can refer to many posts in this forum to find more info abt that.

Re: switching power

Actually I am planning to use Leonardo Spectrum . In that it just shows the delay and area . No provision for switching power . Is there some means i can calculate the switching activity of my design by sending stream of bits and then calculate the power .
Is there any other method ?

Please help
