test for a digital-to-analog converter
how can one get the specification SNR from simulation? from which simulation?

The maximum theoretical SNR is set by the number of bits and the input signal level. Real converters have additional sources of noise. Other factors is if you do any DSP band width restricting with the output and how much oversampling you do.

i have designed a simple 8-bit resistor-string DAC.
so i want to get some specfication of this DAC.
I donot know how can one get the SNR?
I have generated a Sin Waveform output signal, then geneated a spectrum thorough DFT. but there is no nosie floor in the spectrum. So I think there is maybe no noise in my simulation.
