how can i use OpenCV in Windows

I installed OpenCV in ubuntu and worked on it. Now i would like to install it on windows but i found that it needs visual studio. is there any open source software which runs on windows to run OpenCV?
Suggest me some and Please give links for installation guides.

You could install QT Creator IDE, which allows selection of a variety of free compilers.
