How can I tell which version of P*A*D*S created a file?

Can anyone plse advise how to determine the version that was used to create a .job file?

I wish to import it into the more recent power_pcb but attempts to do this fails reporting that it is basically an older, incompatible version.

Is there a older-to-newer conversion software available?

pads2000(dos) job file!!!
pads2000,powerpcb v2.0 can creat it!!
