How can i take a clock pulse from 8051

Hello
I want to know ,how can i take a clock pulse from 8051 which clock pulse will not stop during the other operation .
other wise i want a continuously clock pulses .but that clock pulse do-sent depend any other operation of the controller .

You can use timer in 8051. It depend on pulse which is generated by crytal.

easiest way is to take it from clk out pin of 8051 this will not hamper the controller 0% load on controller.

But you won't change frequency if you use pin clk of 8051
