how can i switch the pba mode and gba mode in the encounter edi?

how can I switch the between PBA mode and GBA mode in the cadence encounter edi ?and what is the default setting in the EDI?thank you !

Not sure about PBA in EDI.

As far my knowledge, we don't enable PBA mode in PD tools, usually will be enabled in the STA sign-off tool, that too when you've few 100 violations.

In PT, you will use "report_timing -pba_mode exhaustive" to enable the PBA mode.

If possible can u help me few commands in encounter to do

1 sanity checks

2 utilization
congestion cell and pin density

clock tree report

power reports of clock and chip ??

Please check the User Manual & Command manual for the commands.

encounter is GBA based ...while Tempus is based on GBA initially + PBA through retiming. ..... The new upgrade of EDI called Innovus is able to able to access some of the features of PBA in the EDI amongst other things.....
You should contact your cad to utilize the features of the newer tool version
