Can I program a microcontroller in visual basic? I am not very good at c lang. please guide.

Well you can't use Visual BASIC that's for your computer. You can program 18F series PICs with the excellent Swordfish BASIC

Look at the Pic Basic Pro compiler from Melabs.

Above suggestions are good. I would persevere with C though, it will be more useful later on. Try CCS compiler, good for learning as many functions built in.

Thanks all. It seems using basic language is not too flexible as compared to c lang.

Poton compiler support basic language. Try it.
You can not write microcontroller code in visual basic.
