current limit

hi

how I can current limit(start) for a converter boost, Vo=400 vdc,Vin=120 rms, Po=1500W and Idc=12 A

Re: current limit

8) In the boost topology it is not possiible to give current limiting in the output without adding one more Switching element in series with the output.
Current can only be limited in the main switching element of The boost converter.

If you are asking about input surge current limiting u can use a big NTC or resistor with relay arrangement.
