Dear peers and elders.

I have designed a LPDA with two booms and wire dipoles in HFSS. I have worked in 4NEC2 and CST earlier. However, in HFSS things are quite tangled up.

My LPDA is consists of 2 booms and I have attached the top of the booms with a lumped port upon rectangular sheet. However, my results are not as expected. In one of the question posted in the forum, I found that it has been suggested to connect another lumped port at bottom of the structure. What does it make sense ? I mean in the second sheet how shall be the "direction" of line ?

I request if anyone could kindly share his/her precious expertise on my problem. I would be immensely obliged.
