HOT N-WELL Dummy layer

What is the concept of "HOT N-WELL" Dummy layer . Can anybody help me out.

Dummy layer is not tape out layer exp text layer.

Hi,Rahul

As wein said the dummy layer is not a real layer in mask steps.As usually,the dummy layer is used to mark some specail stucture.The HOT-WELL is one and as I know the spacing between HOT-WELLs is bigger than normal NWELL which is connected to VDD or POWER.The tools can help you to avoid some mistakes in layout by this type of layers.
