Hi,

I was trying to build up a custom stepper motor driver using hip4082 and IRF540N mosfets .. the HIP4082 is supplied with 12V and the mosfets are controlled with 5V supply, so i think i won't need a bootstrap circuit, i tried the crcuit with a bi-directional led and everything worked fine, but when i connected the motor coil one of the two HIP4082 was damaged partially, and i don't know what could have damaged it :-( ...... please help and thanks in advance
