I was reading about Hilbert transform , empirical mode decomposition and wavelets. I came across the article from the link https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/1717578/intuition-behind-fourier-and-hilbert-transform. I could not understand as most of the central idea was hidden in mathematical jargons. Could anybody explain in a simple language?
