Hello all

Does anyone know how to properly simulate two highly coupled microstrip lines in HFSS?

When two lines become too close to each other it seems that HFSS modal solution can not define the port fields properly.

Thank you in advance,
Mohammad.

Hello Mohammad,

Yes, the best way to analyze such structures using Sonnet em a planar Eletromagnetic Simulator Based on Method of Moments (MoM)...

Even they have Sonnet Lite Free version using which youi can simulate coupled lines..But if you use the professional version, I think you can solve your problem quickly...
