Hi to everybody !

I need to change the gain on a instrumental amplifier from a microcontroller.
I used an INA118 and a PIC's family micrcontroller.

For change the gain I must change the value of one resistance.

Somebody know a High precision variable resistance usable from a PIC ?

Thx

:)

You can use some digital potentialmeter for the changing the close loop gain in you application. They are availible in Farnell.

OR

You can also use the transistor pluse 1% resistor to implement this varbile gain control.

I Am interesting on this solution but I have not understood as it function. You could makes to see an example me?
