high power led driver circuit diagram for 12v dc input and 630ma output

hello,


i want to make high power led driver that has input voltage 12v dc and the output is 40v dc......
 

may be this can be useful. but I did not check this sheme in work. probably else need to add external power transistor.

i want drive 8 high power led each 1w consuming.
if i want to read about the led driver, from where i can read?
