Hierarchial Spice Description?

Any good source to learn about?
 

Guys, I have gate level spice netlist in *.spi format and transistor level spice description for all the gates used in the former one in *.sp format.

My question if- how do I combine these? Or how do I convert the former one from gate level to transistor level description?

I know this is not that difficult and there must be some way to do this.
