hi plzzzz......... let me know how to do a project " water tank level controller"

pls help me how to do this project. I know we shud use water level sensors and motor for this. As well as i am trying to write the code for this.Pls anyone help me.......

firstly decide if you want to use a micro-controller or not , and if yes then what controller core are you comfortable with , and you have said that you are trying to write the code so then what is your hardware ?

How can you write a code without deciding the hardware ?

Hi thanks for ur reply. Actually i am using MSP430G2231 advanced microcontroller for indicating the level of the water tank and contrlling the motor on and off.

pls help me to write the code in c.
