If you have the PDK, may be you suffer from broken symbolic links? See this "Installing Cadence IC 6.1" paper from the University of New Mexico web site, especially chapter 3.2 Unpacking the CDK (p. 21).

Hi, I think you may misunderstand...
I can use NCSU 1.6, but I don't have the rul files for assura, so I can just do DRC and LVS in virtuoso.

they should have name like this
assuraDRC.rul

the default ones are divaDRC.rul

As a work-around, you could copy the divaXXX.rul to assuraXXX.rul . The diva rules are compatible, i.e. assura is downward-compatible to diva; actually assura is just an extension of diva with additional smarter DRC, EXT & LVS features.

hi, i tried, but it says "fail to build VDB. Cannot submit DRC run"
