Hi all,

I am wondering if someone could take look at my CPW HFSS project and explain to/show me why it is not working. I am simply trying to simulate a high-Q, 2-lambda resonator, whose resonant frequency is 2GHz.

My results do not show any well defined resonant peak or a high quality factor. I have tried everything I can think of and looked up many resources but nothing I seem to do works.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I can't produce a resonance peak so I cannot calculate the Q.

I guess you need to find the resonance first. There must be problems with your simulation.

Yes, I am quite aware of that. I was hoping someone could tell me what is wrong with my simulation.
