Hi all. I'm working for a project at school and we proposed a wireless device which
could time swimming competitions. We thought one alternative could be having a transmitter at one end of the pool and a receiver (which also would be recording times) at the other.

The pool is 25mt long (about 82 feet) so the wireless TX, RX would have to work in that range. Does any one know any commercial technology we can start researching about?. The RF technology must support TX/RX short chunks of data for identifying which competitor reached the other side first.

Thanks in advance
